Privacy Policy

AudioCapture captures audio from apps you select and writes MP3 files you choose to save on your Mac. Captured audio stays on your device unless you share the file yourself.

We do not sell data to advertisers or data aggregation agencies.

Optional diagnostics: the app may send anonymous crash reports via Sentry and anonymous usage events via Aptabase to help us find bugs and understand which features work. These services do not receive your audio recordings.

AudioCapture asks for System Audio Recording permission so it can tap another app’s audio output. It does not require Screen Recording permission.

Diagnostic data is retained only as long as needed for product support, typically up to a few months, then deleted under each provider’s retention settings.
